When your puppy goes home.
-
Contract:
All puppies will have a contract that will protect you as a buyer and myself as a seller. This contract includes a health guarantee for genetic problems and also a return clause if you are not able to properly care for your puppy. I DO NOT SELL TO BROKERS. PUPPIES ARE NOT TO BE RE-SOLD FOR ANY REASON OR PUT INTO RESCUE. I will make every effort to help you with your puppy.
-
Microchipped:
ALL puppies will be microchipped with AKC Reunite. I as the breeder will ALWAYS be the Secondary contact. My vet will microchip each puppy and keep them on recorded at their office as well. I will register each puppy's microchip.
-
AKC Registration:
All puppies are AKC registered. All companion puppies are on LIMITED REGISTRATION (A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. These dogs are eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include Obedience, Tracking, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, etc.), without exceptions. I do not sell puppies on full registration for more money or sell puppies to be breeding stock. I will register the puppy for you. UKC registration available upon request.

-
Breed Specific Information:
I include the "Education Manual for the Belgian Sheepdog Puppy Buyer" provided by The Belgian Sheepdog Club of America, with each puppy packet. This was put together by many BSCA members with some very helpful information from crate training, housebreaking, socialization, caring for your Belgian, training and activities you can do with your Belgian. I also include information about Anesthesia used on Belgians. Along with other important health information in the breed.
-
Litter Information:
This includes OFA Health Records on both Sire and Dam. Along with the Pedigree (family tree) for the puppy.
-
Collars, Leashes, & Toys:
I will provide a leash and collar for your puppy for its travel home, along with a small bag of the current puppy food they are on. Also, a toy that smells like mom and other puppies and a chew bone.
-
Deposits:
All deposits are non-refundable. Remaining balance due at time of picking up the puppy. Deposits are accepted once puppies are 1 week old.
-
Training:
All puppies will be litter trained to help them develop one location to potty versus just anywhere. This also helps with housebreaking. I will also work with them on walking on a leash along with getting used to being in a crate, both plastic and wire. Along with doing short car rides around the neighborhood. *Remind you this doesn't mean your puppy will be perfect at riding in a crate or already being "housebroken" this is the first step to help you as the new owner, and for you to continue the training process. * Puppies will need frequent potty breaks outside to prevent accidents. The average time a puppy can go is 4 hours.
I also HIGHLY recommended enrolling your puppy in a Puppy Preschool class for 6 weeks. And if you chose to continue your training then I recommend enrolling your puppy in Beginner Puppy classes.
